YLEC, a non-profit organization, has been significantly impacting the environment through its diverse initiatives spanning over 10 districts in Uganda. With a vision centered on promoting environmental conservation, we endeavor to ignite public awareness and cultivate the adoption of eco-friendly practices among individuals. Beyond these efforts, we conduct extensive research and offer extension services, empowering the communities we engage with. Through collaborative partnerships with other organizations, we employ a participatory approach, enabling communities to address environmental challenges sustainably and effectively. OUR WORK.

Our work focuses on fostering environmental stewardship and empowering young people to take action. We have been working in schools to educate and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders, as well as providing training in green enterprises to help reduce the impact of climate change. Through community projects, awareness campaigns, and educational programs, we strive to create a sustainable future where young people are actively engaged in conservation and environmental protection. Our goal is to create a world where the environment is respected, protected, and preserved for future generations.
